SUNDAY SNAPS (NOT)

Really Random Thoughts Instead

No Sunday Snaps this week. I was at a quilting workshop in Las Vegas all week, missing my theme shots.  And, what a perfect week, with perfect projects, and perfect people.  We sewed and laughed and even accomplished a few things.

A couple of photos of what was going on. 

Just look at those walls.

I did manage to finish this quilt top.  It is a Bonnie Hunter free pattern on her blog (you can find it here).  I decided to do it in two fabrics instead of scrapy.

While waiting for the shuttle bus back to our hotel, we spotted a rather beautiful sunset.

Waiting for me when I got home were these beautiful tomatoes on the vine.

 

I told you these were really random.

SUNDAY SNAPS

This week's prompts:

VIEW -  from waaaay up high.   

FIRST - thing in the morning...

I NEVER - thought I would be making my own cleaners; but, I do.

ALIVE - when I went shopping this day, I saw this gorgeous sunflower.  It cannot help but make you feel alive, especially at this time of year.

SHARP- this cactus is over 10 feet tall and has lots and lots of sharp little thorns.

 

GOLD - One of my favorite dustables.

YAY! A FINISHED QUILT

I have a finish!  I started this Blue and White Chevron a couple of years ago. I saw this same combination on Pinterest.  Love Pinterest!  A friend and I had got together with the thought that each of us would make one of these for charity.  Not only did we realize it was much more work than we had anticipated; but, I at least, fell in love with it.  So....who knows?

Only eight more quilt tops to quilt.

THE END - A Farewell to Arms and June.

RED & WHITE - I love my Fiestaware, especially the red.

SOMTHING THAT STARTS WITH "K" - Krispy Kreme. Stayed on the outside because had I gone inside the doughnuts would have been inside of me.  Sigh...

MATCH - So do people still match their lipstick to their outfits?  I do.

STARS - Happy 4th of July USA.

ON THE TABLE - I know it's silly; but, this tape dispenser is so cute!
