Lyn Brown is teaching at the Two Wacky Women, October 14 - 16, 2011 Quilt Retreat. And, she has designed a quilt especially for the retreat. How exciting is that? So, today I have started cutting a few kits. Just look at these yummy Hoffman batiks.
Here's a closer view.
You just know that quilt is going to be gorgeous.
And then I started to quilt this Jelly Roll Quilt. Yes, that is super-wide rick rack.
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

I love batiks....and lucky you to get to work with them but I am sure it gets tiring after a while.
I'm not a real big fan of Batiq's (shock horror, there is some fabric out there I don't like!) but I spied the purple one! Would be great to come along to one of your retreats one day....maybe after the lottery this weekend ($30 million) I might be able to afford to hey? lol Hugs Naomi

I love batiks. Would love to be able to attend your retreat! The jelly roll quilt looks wonderful. I have seen a few of these on blogs lately. Makes me want to start one of my own.
