happened; Season; Mess; Snack; Fill the frame; I sat here; 4 O'Clock

finished getting the piping binding sewn down on this quilt.

just seems to creep up on you.

a handful once in a while.

"SHAPE" I'm
not even sure what this is; but, it is part of my potpourri.

A NOTEPAD
When I was in Florida recently, my daughter saw my
notepad I made a few years back. She hinted that she needed one. I finally got around to making her one
yesterday.
It turned out nice and it really is handy
to use, especially for shopping.
Hope you are
enjoying your week and
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

SUNDAY SNAPS
This week's
prompts include these words: On my Table; Two Tone; Lunch; This is Good; I Stood Here, and Egg. This is my take on them:
"ON MY TABLE" My
sewing table that is.
"TWO TONE" Is
this a two tone or a print?
We quilters
probably are most familiar with this as a two tone or a tone on tone.
"LUNCH" A
beautiful stuffed portobello mushroom.
So yummy!
"I STOOD HERE" Just
that....
"EGG" My favorite way to eat an egg is
deviled. What's your favorite way?
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

AROUND THE WORLD (ATW) SWAP
The ATW swap blocks are completed and mailed to everyone, finally. For this swap, each person who signed
on, sent out a fat eighth of their desired fabric. Then that fabric was used in your
chosen block. Originally I had selected a rather modern block. But, as the swappers began to commit to their blocks, I realized I needed to pick something more traditional. Here are the blocks I made
for everyone, using their fabrics plus fabrics from my stash.
I enjoyed working
with the different fabrics, finding it a
great exercise. Now my blocks are
starting to arrive and I'm looking forward to seeing them all together. Once they all arrive, I promise to share with you.
Hope you are
enjoying your week and
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

BIRTHDAY BLOCKS
As think I
mentioned a while back, I belong to a friendship group that is exchanging
birthday blocks. It has been a hoot for sure.
I remembered to get pictures from this month's meeting.
Ellen chose "baskets"
for her birthday blocks:
Gayle chose "The
Beach":
Mary chose "Red, White & Blue" blocks:
Aren't they going to turn into fun quilts?
Hope you are
enjoying your week and
Quilt happy,
Marilyn
