So, instead I'll show you what I made in the kitchen. Theodora, at Theodora Quilts, almost shamed me (almost). She read my post on National Tortilla Day and decided that buying a package of tortillas and baking them crisp does not constitute making your own chips. She is probably right. This morning I put in the crock pot some pork and stuff to make Carnitas for tacos. I was going to go to the store to buy some tortillas and I could just hear Theodora (and she lives in Greece) saying "make your own Marilyn". I looked in the cupboard and I had some masa and by golly I did make my own tortillas.
Then I made some Pico de Gallo to go with it. Voila, dinner.
But, then I thought I should maybe post of picture of the girls in my quilt room. This is where they hang out when I quilt.
Do you think they want to share that bed? That's what I think.
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

My daughter made homemade tortillas when she was home this summer...they were sooo good!! I should do it too!
I've made tortillas twice in the last few weeks. Great minds think alike. Can't wait until we can show what we've been working on.
Stop! You're making me hungry. Those tortillas look good! I didn't know it was possible to make them. I thought they just came in a bag from the store. LOL As for the girls... I'd say, "Move over!"
