THINGS OFF MY LIST

Yesterday I made a couple of stars for "Just One Star" effort that Moda is participating in.  I have been seeing it all over Blog Land.  If you would like to participate to honor our soldiers you can read about it on this blog by Moda.  It needs to be to them by May 1st.

Then I finished a "Crochet with Fabric" purse I had started last year for my granddaughter.  It got put in the to-do pile and literally got buried.  When Annette and her college roommate decided to visit me over her Spring Break, I found it and even better, finished it.  Yay!  And, just in time.  They will be here this Saturday.

I've made her a couple before and she wanted a black one.  The lining is the fabric I used to crochet the bag.

I see I have 200 posts now.  You know what that means?  Yup.  Check back tomorrow.

Quilt happy,
Marilyn

What a great idea for a purse. I have some pretty colored but ugly print fabric that could be used this way. Thanks!

Marilyn, I took the blog about the star blocks to my guild and they thought it was a great idea. Some decided to do some.
We've done Quilts of Valor but not many participated. This is much easier and quicker. We'll see.
