Here lies the poor unstuffed thing.
After a few more embellishments, Angie the Cat Angel is born. She is very sweet and perhaps the only stuffed doll-like creature I will ever make. Now, I wonder if Noelle will like it?
Quilt happy,

Amanda over at http://amanda-lotshappening.blogspot.com/ is having a Christmas Challenge. June was a Christmas ornament and this is the July challenge: a Christmas table runner. I took a class in June with Patricia Pepe http://www.patriciapepe.com/ using her wonderful tool, the X-Block. And, this is what I came up with. I can't even remember buying this fabric. But, I always buy fabric that has poodles on it. It became the perfect piece for this project. The table runner isn't due until July 31st. But, after taking a close look at my calendar for the next couple of weeks, I realize that I have a very busy schedule.
I joined a Christmas challenge with Amanda (http://amanda-lotshappening.blogspot.com/ ) For the month of June, we were to create a Christmas ornament in any medium. Here is my finished ornament. It is using the English Paper Piecing method. I just decorated a square cube with some beading and ribbon. That's a bell on the bottom. My friend Pat Barton was a great big help in this. Thanks Pat. Be sure and go check out all the great ornaments rolling in on Amanda's blog. Next month it is a Christmas table runner. I have it started thanks to the X-Block workshop.
