This week's prompts:

Watching -  some old Modern Family reruns. 

Favorite Space - is my quilt room.  Even though I cannot show what I've been working on.

Secret -  I found out my grandfather kept this secret from all of us.  He was half Japanese.  All so very fascinating.

Leafy - This leafy plant lives in my guest room.

Problem - What to order, breakfast or lunch.  Good to have such small problems.

Still - I still have to wait for these avocados to mature.  So hard to wait.

A Good Day - It is always a good day when you spend it at a Tea and Quilt Auction.

Me Today -  I love all the edits these photo apps have. This newsprint edit erases the wrinkles - better than a facelift.

FINISHED-ON-FRIDAY (Wk 38)

What a busy week this has been.  I had to actually take things off my plate in order to make room.  And, sewing has suffered.  Although I had high hopes, I did not make one stitch toward my Riley Blake Retro Travel Bag.  I did however, work on my Big-Stitch Quilting in the evening and when I found some time during meetings.  So, I got all the stitching around the flowers and have started quilting lines using the dots as a guide.  Perfect fabric for a first-time project. 

I did fit in a few gifts I need.

A couple of pillow cases and some small boxes.   Maybe some chocolate will sneak into those boxes.

MAKE-IT-MONDAY (Wk 38)

I am hoping to get at least one of these UFOs I brought back from the Riley Blake's Fabric Fest done by Friday.  I also have a few other small things to get done for little gifts.  But, of course I cannot show you that yet.

 

The Retro Travel Bag is my day project.  The Big-Stitch Quilting is my evening project.
