"FROM WHERE I STAND"

In less than two minutes, it turned this dark.

"ROUTINE"  A daily routine -- or is it a chore.

"BEDSIDE"

"FRESH"  Nothing like new carpet and paint to make everything fresh again.

"SO ME"  I cannot start my day without a list.

I hope you have a good week and

Quilt happy,

THREE QUILT BLOCKS

I belong to a fabulous group of women who have put together a "Birthday" swap.  Here's how it goes. We meet once a month.  The month of your birthday everyone will make you a "Birthday" block of your choice.  For February two members chose anything representing the beach that will finish 10". Another selected a very happy Red & White signature block.  She said she always wanted a quilt to remind her of her birthday and Valentine's Day.  I decided to make both beach gals the same block and I gave each a little packet of square buttons to decorate their cabanas if they want.

I wish I had taken a picture of all the blocks together.  Next month I will.

I hope you are having a good week and

Quilt happy,
Marilyn

SUNDAY SNAPS

Mon Day 9 - "ENERGY" or should I say the lack thereof...

Tues Day 10 - "INSPIRES ME"  oh how I love you Pinterest!

Wed Day 11 - "ON THE WALL"  design wall that is.

Thurs Day 12 - "POINTY"  how many of you have many different scissors, and in every room?

Fri Day 13 - "TEMPTATION"  There's this one little shelf in the fridge....

Sat Day 14 - "LOVE"  this old girl.  My husband would have said she has a face that "only a mother would love".  I love her face even when she is in need of a good grooming.

Sun Day 15 - "SPOTS"  My collection of spots and strips and sometimes I'm lucky enough to find both at the same time.

I hope you have a good week and

Quilt happy,

Marilyn

HOME AGAIN!

No Sunday snaps again this week.  However, I am going to pop in here just to say I have been busy re-positioning myself from Florida to California.  A girlfriend flew out and drove back with me.

We managed to spend some play time in Destin before taking off, including a lunch at Maragaritaville.  No, that is not snow; it is sugar-white sand.  Isn't is gorgeous!

Packed up the car and my friend and my two dogs took six days to drive across the good ol' USA.  When I got home the refrigerator was stocked for morning breakfast.   In addition, there was a gift card for a dinner out at P.F. Chang's in the event cooking didn't sound so good.  I have the very best of friends and neighbors!!

I am going to miss my family in Florida.  But, it sure feels good to sleep in my own bed again and the girls are very happy to have their yard to romp in and the squirrels to chase.  Thanks for helping me drive back Sue!

Quilt happy,
