Just took this picture from my front porch. There is a parking strip somewhere there. We were issued a tornado warning here in Long Beach. So forget the song "It Never Rains in Southern California". Now to get the dogs to go outside, yeah right.

It looks just a little bit wet out there....bet the dogs are crossing their legs now! Feel free to send rain our way....we still so desparately need lots of constant heavy rain. Hugs Naomi
That is one thing that is better here in Northern California, Drainage!! Most of our flooding comes from overflowing creeks and rivers and not poor drainage! Better get those doggies some little rubber boots! LOL

We had a tornado, in LB, about 20 years ago. Damaged the market at Spring and Palo Verde. Hope you are safe.
We are sure on the news today. More for tomorrow and Thursday.
My street looked the same, but the puddles went away in no time when the rain stopped! amazing! I was wondering how I was going to get the kids off of the bus in all that, but it stopped pouring just in time. yeah!
if there weren't lightening, you could go swimming!

oh we so need some of that rain over here right now, stay safe Marilyn, not good weather for driving in thats for sure.
