Done is good. It did seem to take forever to just decide on the border. And, as busy as it is, I like it. This is a challenge that Beth put out on her blog. Go here to see. I used the X Block, by Patricia Pepe, to make the center blocks. A blend of Bamboo, Silk and Cotton by Quilter's Dream was used for th batting. By the way, it was very nice to work with. I chose a backing of dark brown with lots of flower power. Which brings me to the name: Flower Power. And as you can see, it is Trudy tested and approved.
Quilt happy,

Spectacular quilt. I love how it came out. Most amazing borders I've ever seen. And Trudy is doing such a great job testing out this quilt too. I get the feeling she not only approves it, but loves it like I do. Great job.

Wow! It's fabulous, especially the border blocks. I really like it, Marilyn!
Yes yes yes! That is great. Good to see it being Trudy-tested too.
Hi there I love your work I looked and it up close some of the fabric is striped am I right the one that is center angled in the block, and the flowers are they appliqued on there? hhhm it looks like it , overall very nice and the boarder is very nice that you decided on I used to live in california pasadena I now live in greece stop by for a visit now that your done with the quilt LOL .
I just love your 'Flower Power'! Those striped fabrics look terrific. I usually stay away from stripes, but now that I see your quilt I may have to change that. I also love the appliqued flowers you did on the top. Trudy looks so peaceful, or should I say pieceful, on them.
Your dog looks so comfy on your beautiful quilt!
