The Green Quilt

Several posts ago I talked about making this quilt. This one is NOT a sample. It was meant to be Christmas gift for my daughter in Florida. But, December got crazy when my mom fell and broke her hip and you can imagine what that has meant. Yesterday I finally finished it. I am calling this The Green Quilt. Not very original; however, it just seems right. It has been laundered and is ready to go. Tonight I will throw it on my bed and sleep under it; because, I want to send her my love along with the quilt. As you can see it is Trudy approved.

Hi Marilyn,
That is a beautiful quilt...the name that comes to my mind is Sage Dance due to the way the fabrics seem to just dance and of course...it is mostly green! I love it!

Lovely gift. Do you always launder before giving away? I never do...Am I doing it wrong?

Very nice and I love the idea of sleeping under it before it's given away. I think it was Elizabeth that I first heard of doing that. I try to do the same thing it just seems to be the right thing to do.

I love, love, love it! I finally got around to loking at your blog - sorry. You always put so much love into your quilts! I'm a very lucky daughter and I can't wait to sleep under it myself next week!

You could always re-name it to the comfy green giant perhaps....that's a bit more original! Hugs Naomi
