Molly's Quilt

I have to share this with you. It has been nearly a week since we held our Two Wacky Women quilting retreat. Life has been a bit complicated for me as of late. However, this morning my daughter, Jolene who attended the retreat, texted me this photo. She finished her quilt top. She used one of Billie Lauder's sample quilts as her example and made this very cute quilt top. This adorable quilt is being made for Molly, the little schnauzer in front. I wonder, if after all this work, that will still be the case? She is headed out now for batting to complete her project. Jolene is not a new quilter. She has made a few scrappy, pull-from-the-sack quilts in the past. And, they turned out great. This is her first planned quilt. Don't you think it is wonderful? Good job Jolene.

Great job Jolene! I'm so happy she was able to finish it so quickly. Is she going to quilt it herself?

What a fantastic job Jolene.....Doubt if I'll ever try a quilt that big, and if I do, whether I'll be as quick as you. Marilyn she's done a great job, bet you're proud your daughter is as craft minded....wish my daughter was! Hugs Naomi

Jolene made a very cute quilt! Kudos to her Marilyn. She might use the quilt herself before giving it to the dog!
