SNEAK PEEK OF "DAY OF THE DEAD" QUILT

Just a sneak peek of the new quilt. I do like it so far.  The gold-colored sashing almost gives it a warm glow.  The pattern I have been using is City Blocks by Kari Nichols for Mountainpeek Creations. I am running out of fabric and will have to get creative with the border.  Is that what is called a design opportunity?

Quilt happy,

Marilyn

It looks fabulous and not overwhelmingly skeletons! LOL I think Janet will be happy with it. That kind of pattern might not even need a border.

Aren't you the speedy quilter? I kind of agree with Karen that you may be able to just bind this lovely and skip an extra border.

Love it!! I kind of agree about not needing another border. To comment on the speed of your piecing would be redundant :)

How fun! It looks like a modern stained glass window to me. I bet she will love it!

Have fun with the creativity on the borders.
