BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING

Are  you a "Black Friday" shopper or a "Cyber Monday" shopper? Or maybe you are smart enough to shop throughout the year; and when Christmas rolls around, you are ready. I know people like that; just not many of you.

I rarely do the "Black Friday" thing for the obvious reasons. But, this year my favorite discount fabric store was holding a sale. So my BFF and I decided that the dinner hour may be a good time to look in on it. Turns out it was a perfect time. Actually, I think most people were out getting electronics on Friday. Besides this store was holding its sale the entire weekend. So,  here is my one and only "Black Friday". Perfect!

That's twenty-eight yards of lovely, discounted fabric.

Hope you have a good week and

DID I REALLY PURCHASE MORE FABRIC?

Yes, I did.  But, isn't it great?  Road to California has vendors that we don't usually see.  So, I had to get this; I might not see it again.  That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

Wendy Richardson of QTStudio.com lives in Minnesota and hand dyes all her fabrics.  She even hand dyes, socks, shirts, scarves.  Just wonderful.  Now, what will I make....

BACKING FABRIC

Went to one of my favorite fabric haunts today.  Look what I found for a backing.

It's perfect.

MONDAY MUSINGS

I was thinking today that most quilters have a fabric collection.  And, most of us have a style of fabric that we tend to gravitate toward.  There are some fabrics that seem to hop into my arms when shopping at a fabric store.  For instance, these dots:

Lately these word fabrics have started hopping on board the collection wagon.

And then of course, I collect all things poodle.

Especially poodles with dots.
