Above is the sample I worked on. I was afraid to make my sample block on solid silk or even a solid color. This is part of a panel.
But, here is the back of my sample.
I learned a lot. And, mostly I learned to get out of my box and not fear this kind of quilting; but, to just have fun with it. And, now I’m off to practice, practice, practice.Quilt happy,

Wow, Marilyn! It looks great! I think choosing the panel was a great idea.
You did a fabulous job!! I just mess around with quilting too. My feathers are all wonky as I don't mark but it is more interesting than straight lines!

Oh, it's so beautiful! That's so many stitches, it must take ages to do. I don't know if I'll ever get up the guts to do that. I am happy for you!
