HELLO OUT THERE
I have had major problems with my blog; but, I think I have fixed them. Fingers crossed.
I have been back in Long Beach since the end of January and have settled into my regular routine. And, the dogs are very happy to have their yard back. They were almost funny to watch romp with such joy. You know what they say, it is fun to vacation, and oh so good to be back home.
I have not done a lot of sewing. However, my friendship group is doing a Round Robin this year. There are ten of us in total, so it has the potential of growing quite large. Here is my center block.
I think it is quite fitting after spending so much time in Florida. I went with a raw-edge applique for the birds and foliage. I will probably bling them after I get it back and quilt it. We are all putting our first border on this month. I finished my friend Terri's block today. I can't show you because she may see it here. But, I like how it turned out.
I hope to have a newsier post next time, now that I can get into it again. In the meantime
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn! So, I think I finally fixed my no reply problem(3 times-fingers crossed it worked!) My husband and I are coming down to San Diego tomorrow for a few day and I was hoping you could tell me what your favorite quilt stores are. I love stopping by new shops(new to me!) Like you I haven't had a lot of time to sew as of late but am hoping to get back to it soon. Thanks!!
Hey you're back! I missed you. Good to see you have your blogger problems figured out. Love your flamingo centre block! We vacationed in Bonaire many years ago and I could not think of anything other than flamingos for months.
Welcome back, Marilyn! So nice to see you posting again. Looking forward to seeing your new quilt - the "bling" part has me intrigued!
Glad you are up and running again and your dogs are happy being home again.
What problem did you have? Was it uplaoding photos? I can't get photos to load on mine. Been that way since Nov!
You know I love your round robin square!
hugs Karen
