I managed to get a flimsy out this week. This
UFO is from a couple of on-line swaps. One was a Row by Row. And, the other was a nine-patch swap. Both
from the same group of wonderful quilters.
Everyone selected
what theme they wanted and sent along fabric with the first row completed. My
theme was "Out of Africa" and my row is the top row of girls. How fortunate the colors work so perfectly
with the "Fall" nine-patch swap from the same year.
This cute little patriotic wall hanging or table topper will be included in an opportunity basket that will be at the July 29-30, 2016 Orange Grove Quilters Guild Quilt Show.
These baskets that the various friendship group have been bringing in are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
And lastly,
another item you will find at the "Summer in the Grove" Quilt Show on
July 29-30, 2016.
Have a good week
and
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

Your Row by Row looks wonderful. I'm just about to start on a group row by row so it is fun to see how you did yours.
It is going to be a great show with all the stitching you have done lately.
I especially LOVE πππ that row by row quilt, 'Out of Africa'! Great colors! Happy Monday ❤

Love your row by row quilt! I joined a group and started one of these several years ago. I should dig it out and finish it. I love the nine patches in the border.
What a fabulous quilt!! Like you were able to incorporate two different swaps together! Does Flimsy mean not quilted yet?
hugs Karen
love love triple love your row by row
