If you are interested in doing a little quilty help for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Erin over at My Patchwork Life is collecting blocks.   These disappearing 4-patch blocks:

They are easy peasy and Erin has a tute on her blog.  Why not make one or two or more for her.  After all, she's doing most of the work by putting them together and quilting them.

Also, if you are interested in helping out the storm victims in another way, a good source is  It keeps up to date on all the charities.
