Another finish and already delivered to its new home. This quilt
was started last summer when Melinda Fulkerson taught Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy
Mountains Majesties at a quilting workshop in Las Vegas. I just finished the piping binding last week.
I love the way it
manages to almost look scrappy by using one larger print fabric. Thank you Melinda for a fun class and thank
you Sue Salinger for the perfect job of quilting.
I'm so sorry I
didn't think to pull out my camera to take a picture of little Maddie with her
new quilt. Story of my life.
Hope you have a
good week and
Quilt happy,
Marilyn

It is a beautiful quilt and will be a cherished gift!! I want to make this pattern one day too , and the idea to use a large print fabric is brilliant!!
That is gorgeous and I love the way that the large print makes it look scrappy.
Very nice Marilyn. I have some of that fabric which has been waiting for me to do something with....ha, ha. Why do I accumulate so much. I then get new ranges and it keeps getting pushed to the back.
I love your Mountain Majesties. Never thought to make it with only one fabric and have it look so scrappy. Just gorgeous. I have a few of those blocks made up and stored away somewhere. Another UFO that I must finish one day.
Fabulous quilt Marilyn!! I love the fabric!! It looks familiar! Is it Chez Moi?
hugs Karen
So pretty, Marilyn. Do you keep any quilts for yourself?
Beautiful!
