Charm Pack and Jelly Roll Giveaway

This is post 100 for me. This one. And, June 15 it will be exactly 1 year since my first post. So to celebrate both my 100th post and my one-year blog anniversary, I am having this giveway. I have recently decided that having charm packs and jelly rolls as part of your stash is one of life's little pleasures. There are so many patterns out there using one or both. And having them ready to go is absolutely super for our busy lifestyle. OK, so here is how to go about it - the normal drill.

1. For one entry - Leave a comment on what you like about charm packs and jelly rolls.

2. For two entries - Become a follower or tell me that you are already a follower on another comment.

3. For three entries - Post about this giveaway on your own blog and let me know that you have done so on another comment.

I will be using the random number generator on June 15, 2010. Good luck. I hope you win.

Marilyn

Marilyn...a GIVEAWAY!!!!
How cool is this and one I won't pass by...lol. So let me see, I like the simplicity (not to mention the convenience) of having my 2 1/2 inch strips already cut and ready to make into any pattern using 2 1/2 inch strips and/or squares. It's so easy to chop off those 2 1/2 inch squares as well as rectangles. The possibilities are endless. As for the charms, it is so very easy to make handbags, quilts, both bedsize and minis using those charm blocks. One can always use those little already cut squares in a project!
I could go on, but won't...lol...

hugz, Pam

Happy Anniversary to you, Happy Anniversary to you, Happy Anniversary Dear Fabulous Blogging Maaarrrriiiiilllllyyyyynnnnnnn,
Happy Anniversary to you!!!!
What I like about Jelly rolls and charms packs is how they give me the sense that I am already half way to a completed quilt top just by purchasing them! I realise it's sort of a delusional perception, but with my lack of (hmmm....how do i put it?) completion???, it makes me feel good just looking at them.
Love ya,
Rob

Dreaming.

If I had to find one word to describe how I feel about Jelly Rolls and charms... well, they help me "dream" - oh the POSSIBILITIES one has, with these two, eh? *grin*

I've only ever owned 2 jelly rolls - one I gave away to a good friend, and 3 or 4 charm packages but I sure had fun dreaming with them and about them!

Tks for adding my name to your contest. I best stop here... Hmmm, I suppose you could say that these jelly rolls and charms have me chattering too much, too, eh?

LOL

I love that I can just whip up a quilt or a gift with a Jelly Roll or Charm Pack, a simple strip or squares quilt will never go astray.

Jocelyn said...

I love charm packs for two reasons. One is that they cut down on preparation time and I can whip up a quick project. And second, I love to see all the fabrics in a new line. I've never made anything with the jelly roll, but I think it would be the same :-) Thanks for entering me in your wonderful giveaway.

Very many congratulations on both your 100th post and your blogiversary, this blogging world is just great isn't it. Your giveaway is wonderful. I'm a bit of a jellyroll addict and am starting to enjoy the charms of charms squares too. I like that you get a whole range of fabrics that coordinate beautifully, one difficult aspect of designing a quilt is done for you - I've even found I work with colours I wouldn't normally choose because they've been included in a jellyroll. Please pick me, random number thingy!

Nanbon44 said...

I like that there are so many different fabric in the charm packs and Jelly rolls.

Vivian said...

Janet sent me your way. What a lovely giveaway you're having! Congrat's on both milestones.
The jelly rolls & charm packs are both appealing--all those fabrics in one hand. They're just too cute to be ignored.

Deanna said...

Precut fabrics let you dive right in and start to work. I like that. They also give a scrappy look with minimal cutting (good on lazy days). There is a new pattern I would enjoy trying and this would be just the ticket. Thanks for the chance.

I found you through Janet at A Hug Delights.

Becky said...

Congratulations on 2 great accomplishments! 100 posts and one year. My favorite thing about jelly rolls and charm packs is that you have many of the fabrics in that fabric line. It makes a very scrappy quilt. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in your give-away!
