TWO NEW QUILTS

Wahoo! Two more quilts almost finished this week.

My friend, Sue Salinger, and I took a Joe Cunningham class last summer in Palm Springs. What a fun class and a fun process. And look what I managed to put together from the class. I can see myself making this over and over again. Each one would turn out different.

I’m calling this “City Block”. It still needs to be quilted and bound. I'm planning on making a facing binding. This is on my UFO list and is due at my March meeting. I think I’ll get it done in time.

The boy quilt got quilted. Yay! Thank you Bears for such a quick turnaround.
It’s a good size quilt. 70 x 90. I’m hoping to get it bound this weekend. I really like this one. Plus, it’s Gracie approved.

I hope you have a good week and

Quilt happy,

Marilyn

I LOVE the yellow/black and white one. The boy quilt is wonderful too.

I like the quilting on the boy quilt - very appropriate. Your quilt makes me think of NY, with the yellow and black chequered cabs. It's gorgeous!
